Parish Administrative Assistants
Barbara Shields has lived on Bainbridge Island since 2016, having previously been a lifelong resident of Albany, New York. The joy and inspiration of 4 grandbabies, brought her to the West Coast. Barbara has been a registered nurse for 46 years and has adapted this skill-set to being a substitute teacher, Safe Environment Program facilitator, and a lead catechist for children’s ministries at St. Cecilia Parish. She enjoys her most devout and sacred praying while dancing and singing, and she loves to rollerblade! She looks forward to sharing her faith and talents with our parish youth and being reminded daily by their presence that God is good – all the time!
